The Holy Bible

To view a particular book, please use the above navigation panel.
Bible verses are listed in three languages: Greek, English and Latin. The Greek Old Testament comes from the Septuagint, and the New Testament is the Westcott-Hort edition, modified for standardized spelling. The English comes from the Douay-Rheims translation, modified by New Advent editors to make it clearer to the modern reader. (The unmodified Douay-Rheims is still available here.) The Latin is the Clementine Vulgate. Finally, the notes are taken from Bishop Richard Challoner's commentary on the Holy Bible.
